Architectural concept and artistic devices:
This apartment In Kharkov was designed for a business lady with a proactive approach to life. The task was to make a practical functional interior design of the apartment, with view to the fact that it is owned by a real lady. In this case, interior usability should be combined with femininity and style simplicity.
Rooms number – 3. They are: a study, a sleeping room and a parlour-studio combined with a kitchen. Each room is unique due to its decorative elements, artistic devices used, though a general style is preserved. So in the living room, the compositional center and accent is a wall containing artistic painting, in which decorative plaster and melted glass impregnations are used. An elegant ceiling luminary with glass lenses, harmoniously selected textile material on the windows and the oval of the mirror stretch ceiling give shine and femininity to the apartment interior.
In the bedroom design a round bed is the centerpiece. It is designed specifically for this interior taking into account all the desires of the hostess. Smooth plasterboard forms on the walls set the entire interior, with lambrequins on the windows emphasizing it.
